Summary

460 Collins StreetA new highly efficient PowerPax chiller was installed to replace the existing chiller to reduce energy use. A new controls system was installed to integrate with the new chiller and controllers were fitted to existing VAV boxes and air-handling units to reduce energy consumption from the air conditioning system.

The retrofit of this 1930s art deco building was the first environmental upgrade agreement signed under the City of Melbourne’s 1200 Building Program.
